Trump Demands ‘Unconditional Surrender’ from Iran Amid Escalating War
President Donald Trump has made the announcement that the US would accept nothing but "unconditional surrender" from the Iranian regime, dismissing the possibility of negotiations. According to Trump, "After the surrender and the selection of new and ‘acceptable’ leadership, the US and its allies would rebuild the country, and the slogan would be ‘MIGA’ , ‘Make Iran Great Again. However, the war rages on, with Israeli airstrikes hitting Tehran and Beirut, and retaliatory strikes from Iran against Israel and the US-backed Gulf nations. The death toll now stands at over 1,300, including six US troops, as Iran’s President Pezeshkian asserts that any mediation must address the parties who ignited the war.
